Janet Walsmith is Admissions Advisor for the Master of Science in Energy and Sustainability Program (MSES) at the McCormick School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Northwestern University. MSES is administered by the Paula M. Trienens Institute for Sustainability and Energy.
She advises on admissions, career placement, and special initiatives within the MSES program. Janet holds a B.A. in Economics and International Studies from Northwestern University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. She serves on several Boards and has worked as a management consultant and in various for-profit and non-profit Director roles. Janet speaks Spanish and Italian and holds a 200-hour yoga teacher training certificate. In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis, mountain biking, and hiking with her husband, three daughters and two aussiedoodles.
