Aurelie Richard is a career coach for Northwestern's Master of Science in Energy and Sustainability (MSES) Program.
She is the Chief Human Development and Strategy Officer at S&C Electric Company, headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. In this role, Aurelie leads S&C’s Human Resources function and its strategy planning process.
Prior to joining S&C in January 2019, Aurelie worked for 15 years at Schneider Electric, holding several executive positions in Finance, Strategy and Human Resources and developed expertise in energy management, electrical distribution systems, performance contracting and industrial automation. Since 2014, she led efforts to transform the company culture, and leadership and talent management processes, defining and implementing strategies to attract, coach and develop talent and accelerate innovation. She also spent nine years at Ernst & Young, in France and in the United States.
Aurelie has an undergraduate degree in accounting and finance, a CPA certification and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from EM Lyon Business School in France. She also holds a certification in Science in Learning and Organizational Change from Northwestern University. Aurelie lives in Chicago with her husband and her two sons.
