Intern with Us

Northwestern magazine, the University's flagship alumni publication with a circulation of more than 227,000 and a growing web and social media presence, has openings for editorial interns. The position offers students the opportunity to experience every aspect of magazine publishing, including researching, reporting, writing, editing, proofreading and fact-checking. We hire both work study and non–work study students. The position requires six to eight hours in the office per week during the academic year and 15 to 20 hours in the office per week during the summer.

QUALIFICATIONS: We're looking for well-organized, detail-oriented students who have an attention to accuracy and excellent writing, interviewing, reporting, editing, fact-checking and proofreading skills. All majors are welcome to apply.
