The spring calendar for NUBAA (Northwestern University Black Alumni Association), included a weekend of activities that featured the NUBAA–For Members Only networking event for juniors and seniors at Norris University Center May 3, a Hall of Fame gala in downtown Chicago May 4 and a 5K run/walk May 5 to raise money for the club’s undergraduate African American scholarship fund.
In addition to the NAA web site, Northwestern University Dental School alumni can stay connected to each other through ebridge, an electronic version of the printed newsletter they received as students. Launched in January, ebridge lists upcoming events and includes historical information about the Dental School and profiles of club members. On Feb. 24 more than 100 alumni gathered at the Chicago Dental Society’s annual midwinter meeting at the Hard Rock Hotel on Michigan Avenue. NUDS will hold its American Dental Association Annual Session alumni reception Sept. 28 at the W Hotel in San Francisco.
