"I recognized Toby Fossland ’91 from the ski team, on the right," says J. Cameron Morgan ’91. "The photo was taken right after the October 1987 stock market crash, so he and his friend had only been on campus maybe six weeks. It was their freshman year, and they were 'jumping' out of a ground-floor window that was only 1 to 2 feet off the ground. But it was a great shot!"

"I’m the guy on the surfboard," writes John Macdonald '85. "What I remember most about that morning was how brutally cold it was. It was at least in the 20s, and the spring wet suit I had on didn’t help very much once the water hit me.
"I still have that old surfboard, but I’m afraid I grew out of the wet suit long ago."
Macdonald, a School of Communication alumnus, is now an attorney in Seattle.
