Mary E. Grier, PhD

Mary Elizabeth Grier received her BA in philosophy at the University of Chicago in 1936 and an MS in psychology in 1938. In 1947 she completed her doctoral degree at the University of Chicago in human development. Dr. Grier served as a diplomat for the American Psychological Association and worked in Northwestern’s department of neurology as an associate professor from 1954-1955.
