Juliann Bluitt, DDS
Northwestern Dental School, 1967-2001
In 1967, Dr. Juliann Bluitt became the first African American full-time teacher at NU Dental School and supervisor of the dental hygiene program and later associate dean of the Dental School in 1969.
She retired from the Dental School when it closed in 2001.
