SHPEjr - Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers
Evanston Township High School (ETHS) has junior chapters of three professional engineering societies that promote and support diversity in engineering career pathways. These junior chapters receive support and collaboration from the Northwestern student chapters. The Partnership Office supported the ETHS junior chapter of Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPEjr) by funding their trip to the National Science Bowl, while the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) provide coaching and mentorship support for the ETHS team that competes in the SHPE competitions.
