Mayor’s Summer Youth Employment Program
Under the leadership of Mayor Hagerty, the Mayor’s Summer Youth Employment Program Initiative, with the City of Evanston and Northwestern, provides summer jobs and professional mentoring for youth and young adults to support various projects at the University. Evanston Township High School (ETHS) students receive pre-employment training, such as mock interviews, with community volunteers including Kellogg students. The program brings dozens of ETHS students to Northwestern campus for a variety of summer job opportunities ranging from academic, administrative, facilities and landscape architecture.
