Kellogg Connections
Kellogg Connections is a mentorship program that connects Northwestern University graduate students, enrolled in the Kellogg School of Management, to Evanston Township High School (ETHS) students interested in business career fields. The graduate students are led by a core volunteer group with students from Kellogg Education Club. These students facilitate a series of after school workshops and field trips with the goal of having high school students experience a mini-MBA program. Thus each workshop features volunteers from various Kellogg student organizations focused on each of the main pillars of the college MBA program, such as marketing, operations and entrepreneurship.
Our office helped launch this program in 2014 after Northwestern hosted a high school business case competition. Graduate MBA students approached our office with the idea of creating Kellogg Connections in order to expand this one day event into a more in-depth partnership. The student program is organized in collaboration with ETHS’ Career and Technical Education Department.
