CT-STEM

Image of students laughing in a classroom.Computational literacy is now required for all STEM disciplines as these computational tools and practices have become integral in most research career fields. The Computational Thinking in STEM (CT-STEM) project at Northwestern is a joint collaboration between the Center for Connected Learning and Computer Modeling, the Center for Interdisciplinary Exploration and Research in Astrophysics and the Office of Community Education Partnerships. Evanston Township High School (ETHS) teachers, supported by our office, are lead designers of the curriculum materials. The teachers also help co-facilitate teacher professional development workshops.
