CRS Hosts 2 Career Catalysts to Meet a Wide Array of Professional Needs

With 2 Career Catalysts down and 2 to go, the Center for Reproductive Science is well on the way of providing diverse and unique professional development opportunities to our wide array of trainees, ranging from future physicians to future policy-makers.

In January, Travis Kent (AAAS Science and Technology Fellow at the National Institutes of Health) and Kristin Smith (Patient Navigator at Northwestern Medicine) spoke about how their passions for reproductive science led to callings in policy and advocacy work.

In March, our students were given an intensive crash course in academic publishing and peer review from Hugh Clarke, co-editor-in-chief of Biology of Reproduction.

These events are an important reminder of how diverse and multi-faceted the reproductive sciences are and we hope to see you all at our next Career Catalyst in April, where we will discuss the use of illustrations in the reproductive sciences!
