CRS Members Accepted into FIR
Please join the Center for Reproductive Science in congratulating Farners Amargant i Riera, PhD, from the Duncan Lab, and Nathaniel Henning, from the Laronda Lab, for being accepted into Frontiers in Reproduction: Molecular and Cellular Concepts and Applications! When asked about what they hope to utilize this next step towards, they responded:
“FIR will allow me to learn new techniques and methodologies that will have an immediate and positive impact on the quality of my current postdoctoral work. It will also allow me to expand my scientific network in the United States. FIR will undoubtedly enhance my scientific career!” - Farners Amargant i Riera

"FIR gives you the rare and incredible opportunity to spend six weeks in a reproductive science summer/boot camp where you learn about topics and techniques from renowned experts from around the country. Then you get to bring that back to the lab where you can apply your new diverse and extensive toolkit to advancing your lab's research." – Nathaniel Henning

Farners and Nathaniel join a long and proud tradition of FIRbees from CRS, including Kelly Mayo, Teresa Woodruff, Francesca Duncan, Dan Bernard, Monica Laronda, Shuo Xiao, Miranda Bernhardt, Seth Garwin, Max Edmonds, Emily Que, Jiyang Zhang, Robin Skory, and Huge Galdones!
