Teatime with Dr. Neena Schwartz
October 27, 2016
On a quintessential fall day in Chicago, the MS-RSM students- together with Dr. Teresa Woodruff, Dr. Francesca Duncan, and Dr. Beth Sefton - visited CRS founder Dr. Neena Schwartz at her home to have tea by the fireplace. The students enjoyed hearing about Dr. Schwartz’s pioneering experiments on inhibin, what it was like to be a female professor in the early days of women in science, and what Dr. Schwartz’s thoughts are on the current state of females in STEM. Dr. Schwartz also gave two thumbs up to the book Lab Girl by Hope Jahren.
