Mother's Rooms

Mother's rooms help support working mothers upon their return from leave and foster a family-friendly environment at the University.

Abbott Hall (Chicago campus)
The mother's room is located on the 14^th floor, room 1428. The door is unlocked unless in use. If you have questions, you may contact (312) 503-8481 or stop in the Chicago Human Resources Office in Abbott Hall, Suite 150.
Rebecca Crown Center (Evanston campus)
This mother's room is adjacent to the women's restroom on the lower level of Rebecca Crown Center, 633 Clark Street. Nursing mothers have exclusive access to this mother's room. Contact Claire Repsold, who issues the room key, at (847) 491-5534.
Pancoe ENH Life Sciences Pavilion (Evanston campus)
This mother's room is located in room 1-410. Faculty, staff, and students across campus are welcome to obtain a key and reserve a regular time in the reservation book located inside the rooms. The Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Cell Biology Office, located in Hogan Hall room 2-100, issues keys. Contact the BMBCB office at (847) 491-5061
Main Library (Evanston campus)
This mother's room is located inside the women's restroom on the third floor. A campus phone is available in the room. The key for this room can be checked out from the Main Library circulation desk for two hours by presenting a valid NU Wildcard or a purple borrower's card. Reserve the room by sending an e-mail message to circulation@northwestern.edu or by calling the Main Library circulation desk at (847) 491-7633.
