Study Abroad Photo Contest

Submission Deadlines:

  • For NU Summer Programs: September 13, 2013
  • For Fall, Winter/Spring, Full Year or Non-NU Summer Programs: October 18, 2013

Photo Submission THEMES:

You may submit up to 5 color or black and white photos taken in the country where you studied abroad. Each photo should fall under one of the following themes:

  • Participation in Host Culture: You do so much while you're abroad, so why not capture it in photos? Submissions should not be a pose in front of a landmark or landscape, but rather an action shot of participation in some aspect of your host culture.
  • NU Pride Abroad: Don your Northwestern gear and show your Wildcat pride!
  • Essence of (your host city): If you had to represent the essence of your host city in a single photo, what would you choose to photograph? A person? A neighborhood or building? An event or celebration? It's up to you!

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:

1. Name Your Photos

  • Change the actual file name (from IMG_1234 or DSC001234, etc.), and name each of your submissions “Yourlastname1,” “Yourlastname2,” etc.
