Through direct enrollment at the American University in Cairo, students have the opportunity for a flexible course selection and study plan. This program is ideal for very independent students who are interested in having a wide selection of English-taught courses, along with the opportunity to improve their Arabic, or to begin studying the language.
**Northwestern has suspended affiliations in Egypt and is currently not accepting applications for this program due to a current Travel Warning.**

- Complete an NU Study Abroad Application by the appropriate deadline
- Complete an AUC application by the program's deadline

- Downtown residence hall with other international students
