Students on this exchange program combine intensive coursework with research. A top European scientific and technological university, the Université de Strasbourg is known for the quality and wide diversity of its courses and for the excellence of its research.

Language Requirements: 

• 2 years+ or the equivalent of college-level French with the ability to do coursework in French.
• Students must meet with Professor Margaret Dempster in the Department of French in order to assess their language skills prior to application. 

Recommended: The Northwestern Department of French recommends that students take at least one 300-level French course prior to departure.
