*This program is affiliated with Northwestern University through Winter/Spring 2016. Northwestern will begin an exchange agreement with University College London beginnning Fall 2016.

University College London (UCL), the oldest and largest constituent member college of the University of London, is extraordinarily diverse with 18,000 students, one-third of whom are international. UCL has excellent departments in a wide range of subject areas, but its Economics and English departments are among the best in the country.

Although NU requires a minimum 2.5 GPA, UCL requires a 3.3. The History and Psychology Departments require a 3.4 in related courses. The Biomedical Sciences, Economics, English, and Math Departments require a 3.5 in related courses.

To apply, Northwestern students must

  1. Complete an NU Study Abroad Application by the appropriate deadline
  2. Complete an Arcadia application by the program's deadline

Self-catered integrated university housing or Arcadia housing. (Northwestern students are required to live in University campus housing if it is available.)
