Description: 

Students on this program take upper-level mathematics courses taught in English by eminent Hungarian professors from the Technical University of Budapest. Each course usually meets three to four times per week and is taught for 14 weeks, for a total of 42 contact hours per term.

Admission Info:

To apply, Northwestern students must:

  1. Complete an NU Study Abroad Application by the appropriate deadline
  2. Complete a Budapest Semesters in Mathematics application by the program's deadline

Languages: English, Hungarian

Language Requirements: 

None; however, students will be required to take one Hungarian language course for each term on the program.

Housing: 

Home stays with a Hungarian family or student apartments with other program participants.
