In Hangzhou, capital of Zhejiang province and known as the Garden City for the unusual quantity and quality of its parks and greenery, the C.V. Starr-Middlebury School in China program is designed for the specific needs of high intermediate and advanced Chinese language students. The program's primary goal is to increase Chinese language competency in reading, writing, speaking and listening, so all courses are conducted entirely in Chinese.
