Description: 

In this exchange program, students enroll directly at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (PUC) and take classes with local and other international students. Home to 20,000 students, PUC is spread out between four campuses. The university is proud of its role as a national center of research in a number of important fields. The exchange program campus is located in the beautiful city of Santiago and is close to the ocean, mountains, and vineyards. Northwestern students will have the option of studying abroad for a semester or full academic year. Students will pay Northwestern tuition and will be responsible for travel and all other expenses (including room and board).

Spanish majors or minors must discuss their study abroad plans with a departmental adviser.

Languages: Spanish

Language Requirements: 

2 years+ or the equivalent of college-level Spanish with the ability to do coursework in Spanish.
