Senegal: National Identity & the Arts

Description:Through SIT courses and an independent study project, students examine Senegal's important contribution to African arts and culture through a focus on the visual and performing arts. Students can participate in drumming, dance, and theatre classes, as well as study Senegalese religion, history, life, and art.

- Complete an NU Study Abroad Application by the appropriate deadline
- Complete an SIT application by the program's deadline

Language Requirements:1.5 years (the equivalent of 3 semesters) of college-level French, completing at least FR 121-2 OR FR 125-2.
