This program is especially suited for students interested in studying the area’s political and economic challenges, various musical and dance forms, critical issues of public health, and African history and culture. The program also encourages community involvement through independent study options, excursions, volunteer activities, and for-credit and non-credit internships.Terms:

To apply, Northwestern students must
- Complete an NU Study Abroad Application by the appropriate deadline
- Complete a CIEE application by the program's deadline
