Study Abroad Health Insurance
Northwestern University requires all study abroad students to have HTH Worldwide health insurance coverage for the entire period of time they are studying abroad, regardless of any other coverage they might have through their parents, Northwestern, or their study abroad program.
Northwestern students enrolling in study abroad programs that provide insurance coverage other than HTH are required to purchase HTH through Northwestern, which has contracted with HTH to provide comprehensive (zero deductible) study abroad health insurance.

Optional: download a destination-based HTH insurance iPhone App or subscribe to their mobile website.
If you have any questions about Northwestern's HTH requirement, contact Chris Johnson, Director of Risk Management & Safety (847-491-8518 or risk@northwestern.edu).
