The New Kellogg School of Management Building

Project Status: COMPLETED

Construction start: April 2014
Completion: Late 2016

Project Time Lapse

The New Kellogg School of Management building will be located on the Evanston lakefront campus. The new facility will provide a home for the full time Kellogg MBA program and the Department of Economics (within the Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences), which are currently located in the Jacobs Center on Sheridan Road. The new building will include classrooms, flexible learning environments, faculty and administrative offices, community gathering spaces, and food service. The selected site, northeast of the Kellogg Allen Center, home to the Executive Education programs, will provide the new building with spectacular views of the campus, lake, and pond.

The building, currently in construction is planned to be approximately 415,000 gsf with an anticipated completion date of late 2016. The main entrance will be on the west elevation, accessible from North Campus Drive.

Northwestern University is committed to minimizing the university’s impact on the natural environment, and the project team will design the building to achieve a minimum LEED silver rating from the USGBC rating system.
