Some apartment buildings and many condominiums have recycling collection service already. If not, you can take your materials to the City of Evanston’s drop-off, or to the North Park Village Recycling Center. Our “Reuse Resource” Manual also lists many other places in Evanston and Chicago that will accept recyclables and reusables.

The City of Chicago mandates that the managers of buildings with more than four units provide recycling for tenants. The city provides “blue bag” recycling in buildings with 4 or fewer units.
