Surplus Property Exchange Program
The purpose of the Surplus Property Exchange Program is to provide a common forum for the exchange of Northwestern University surplus property and supplies at a fair market value.
All items in the exchange are entered on a continual basis and listed under the categories below. Select the category that you are interested in for a listing of the goods available.
Scope:
- This exchange is primarily for University departments.
- If no departments express interest in an offered item in 30 days, University employees may bid.
- Personal items will not be listed.
- Parties outside Northwestern University are not allowed to participate in this exchange.
- No anonymous bids will be accepted.

- All transactions are the responsibility of the supplier and buyer.

Procedure:
- Submit "For Sale", "Wanted" or "Free" ad with:
- Date
- Department, Contact Name, and Phone Number
- Item, Description (list age/condition), Cost, if any
- All payments shall be by check, payable to the offering department
- Please notify Purchasing Resource Services if item is sold
