Surplus Property Exchange Program

The purpose of the Surplus Property Exchange Program is to provide a common forum for the exchange of Northwestern University surplus property and supplies at a fair market value.

All items in the exchange are entered on a continual basis and listed under the categories below. Select the category that you are interested in for a listing of the goods available.

Scope:

• This exchange is primarily for University departments.
• If no departments express interest in an offered item in 30 days, University employees may bid.
• Personal items will not be listed.
• Parties outside Northwestern University are not allowed to participate in this exchange.
• No anonymous bids will be accepted.

• All ads in this exchange are the expression of the supplier.
• All transactions are the responsibility of the supplier and buyer.
• Northwestern University expressly disclaims any warranty or guarantee of the quality or functionality of the items sold or of any other aspect of the item. All items are sold "as is," and "where is."

Procedure:

• Submit "For Sale", "Wanted" or "Free" ad with:
• Date
• Department, Contact Name, and Phone Number
• Item, Description (list age/condition), Cost, if any
• All payments shall be by check, payable to the offering department
• Please notify Purchasing Resource Services if item is sold
