Construction start: March 2018
Completion: November 1, 2018
Project Description & Statistics
The 8th floor of the Tarry Medical Research Building (located at 300 E. Superior Chicago, IL 60611) will be the home to the new Cognitive Neurology and Alzheimer’s Disease Center (CNADC) at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.
The CNADC program is committed to:
- Providing quality care through our affiliated care sites
- Conducting research on how the brain coordinates mental functions
- Transferring the benefits of research to afflicted patients
- Preparing future researchers and clinicians in our field
A full interior renovation of the 8th floor will include new offices, lab, imaging lab, subject testing and interview rooms, and support spaces for CNADC’s research initiatives and program. The new design supports CNADC’s vision of bringing different disciplines to work together collaboratively, to train the next generation of clinicians and investigators, integrating clinical and basic science research in neurodegenerative medicine and cognitive neuroscience.
