Alaina is an organizer with the Rogers Park Community Response Team, lay leader at the United Church of Rogers Park, and the director of development with the Student Coalition for Reproductive Justice. They have lived in Rogers Park for 5 and 1/2 years after growing up in West Michigan. They attended Loyola University Chicago, studied Spanish and International Studies, and realized their love for organizing through a group called Students for Reproductive Justice. Their faith is integral in their drive for organizing, as it calls them towards justice and the dismantling of oppression in all forms.
