Qudsiyyah Shariyf

Qudsiyyah is a fierce advocate for reproductive justice and an aspiring birth worker. At the core of Qudsiyyah’s passion for reproductive justice and sexual liberation is an understanding of all people’s inherent worth and a sense of duty to ensure dignity and respect for all oppressed people. Qudsiyyah is the Program Manager at Chicago Abortion Fund (CAF), coordinating the helpline that connected over 1500 people seeking abortion care in the Midwest with financial, logistical, and emotional support in 2020. In their role they strive to embody a politic that is unapologetically Black, fat, queer, and abolitionist through leading with empathy, compassion, and trust. Qudsiyyah is a Philly-raised transplant to Chicago, she loves food, cannabis and cats and has recently started organizing with fat liberation group Fat Rose.
