Web Accessibility Working Group
The Web Accessibility Working Group, formed in 2012, is open to all faculty, students and staff members. Members of this working group specialize in web development and design, procurement, marketing, and accessibility. The group currently meets bimonthly and agenda items include brief talks about potential accessibility issues and presentations on accessibility solutions across departments and functional roles.
The purpose of this group is to raise awareness and educate the University community about web accessibility concerns. Members strive to identify challenges and expedite accessibility initiatives while sharing best practices across different functions.
If you are interested in learning more about web accessibility issues, have something to share with your peers, or are looking to get some guidance on accessibility issues that you have encountered, you are most welcome to attend the regular meetings.
