Edit Events

If you administer a group in PlanIt Purple, chances are at some point you'll need to change, delete, or cancel an event you've already entered and saved. Keep reading to learn how to edit a single event or instances of a recurring event, and how to delete an event or mark an event as canceled.

NOTE: To perform any of the tasks listed in this section, you must first click Add/Manage Groups at the top right corner of the PlanIt Purple home page. Log in using your NetID and password if necessary. This will take you to the dashboard.

  2. Find the event you want to edit; it should be listed under the Upcoming Events heading. Click [edit] next to the event's title. The event will open in the Event Edit screen.
  3. Make the necessary changes to the event listing. When you've finished, click the Save button at the bottom of the screen, or, if you realize you're changing an event you don't want to change, click Discard Changes.
NOTE: After you click Save or Discard Changes, you will remain in the Edit Event screen; however, a message will appear in green at the top of the page saying your changes have been saved.
