Transportation Survey 2016

Commuting to and from campus affects Northwestern’s environmental footprint. In November 2016, the sustainNU program and Institutional Research Office issued the first Transportation Survey in order to gather information about the commuting habits of students, faculty, and staff. The purpose of the survey is to identify opportunities to improve transportation options available to the community while reducing greenhouse gas emissions from transportation. The graphic below shows some of the key findings.
