Athens Internship Program

Location: Athens, Greece


All students enroll in an internship cornerstone course, which provides the framework to maximize students' learning during their work placement experience, along with a Greek language course and three English-taught electives that delve into Greek history, politics and culture. Internship placements are in a wide range of industries, NGOs, and cultural entities. Students participate in the internship for 6-8 hours per week. The program offers close contact with professors, the opportunity to live in a Greek neighborhood, and field-study excursions to sites of historical and cultural importance.

To apply, Northwestern students must:

  1. Complete a Northwestern Study Abroad Application by the appropriate deadline
  2. Complete an Arcadia application by the program's deadline
