Fall 2018 Northwestern Night at the Art Institute

Thursday October 4th, 5:00-8:00pm

Please join us for a special night curated by Northwestern at the Art Institute. All students, staff, faculty, AND as many guests as they like are welcome to enjoy free admission at the modern wing entrance (Monroe St.).

Free CTA rides to and from the museum and Evanston campus available courtesy of Student Organizations & Activities for students--more information available closer to event date.

Featured events include a special Handmaid's Tale guided tour in collaboration with One Book, a museum highlights tour, and a Modern Wing tour.

The museum’s permanent collection includes world famous pieces by Claude Monet, Marc Chagall, Georgia O’Keeffe, Piet Mondrian, Rene Magritte and Vincent Van Gogh as well as whole galleries of decorate arts, photography, Ancient/Byzantine art, African art, textiles, Asian art, and miniatures.

Undergraduate students are admitted to the museum for free throughout the year when they present a valid WILDcard at the museum ticket counter.

  • Intercampus shuttle drops off right in front of museum steps; otherwise take CTA to Chicago-Red station and less than a 10-minute walk
