Norris Starbucks Awarded Team of the Quarter

If you've visited the Norris Starbucks recently, you've now officially been to the Starbucks with the best team in the Chicagoland area. The team received the Store Team of the Quarter Award for the October-December quarter from their national corporate offices. Northwestern Releases New Meal Plan Options

In order to improve student satisfaction with on-campus dining, Northwestern has made major changes to its meal plan options for the 2017-2018 school year. They include the introduction of an Open Access Plan mandatory for all first-year students and the replacement of equivalency meals and points with dining dollars. Wildcat Interfaith Month Promotes Religious Inclusivity

To celebrate Wildcat Interfaith Month this April, Religious & Spiritual Life will be hosting events throughout the month, including an Interfaith Passover Seder, Wildcat Langar, and an interfaith concert. Residential Services Gives Back

This spring, Residential Services Facilities & Construction gave back to the Evanston community by donating furniture from the Bobb and McCulloch lounges to Habitat for Humanity on March 20. This donation is just one example of the donations F&C does throughout the year when residence halls have furniture or appliances they don't need anymore. Instead of dumping the furniture, F&C donates it to nonprofits like Habitat for Humanity so they can distribute it to people in the community who need it.

NUDM Encourages Inclusivity and Learning

Northwestern University Dance Marathon 2017 was wildly successful, not just because it raised $1,253,596 for this year's beneficiary GiGi's Playhouse, but also because of the organization's own inclusivity efforts. In recent years, NUDM has strived to become more financially accessible to students and has reached out to the community, holding events that deal with issues related to that year's beneficiary. NCA Summer Career Treks

Each year, Northwestern Career Advancement invites students to participate in summer career treks in New York City, Washington D.C., Los Angeles, or San Francisco. Students learn about career paths in film & television; government, law, & policy; marketing; media; and startups & technology. They gain an insiders perspective on the work experience at top industry employers while connecting with Northwestern alumni and industry professionals.
