Things to Consider

  • Spaces are usually first come, first serve so be sure to make reservations early.
  • If you no longer need a space, change the reservation as soon as possible.
  • Be sure to review the event confirmation email details regarding catering, audio/visual needs, and any rules regarding the space

Norris Student Center

Norris offers a number of spaces to host small and large scale events.

Advanced Scheduling

  • Certain groups/departments can reserve space in Norris in advance through their advanced scheduling process.
  • Contact Norris Student Center Events Planning:
  • M-F 8:30am to 5pm | (847) 491-2330 for more information.
  • This process is reserved for large-scale, signature events that have established themselves as fixtures in certain spaces for specific times of year.

The Registrar's Office manages several classrooms and spaces in academic buildings across campus. Reservations are made through 25Live.

Student Affairs Conference Rooms

A small number of conference room spaces are available through Student Affairs and can be booked through Outlook:

  • Searle Health Services, Rooms 3.220 (40 person occupancy) and 3.226 (15 person occupancy)

Policies & Procedures

By reserving and using rooms at either the Black House or the Muliticultural Center (MCC), you are responsible for following building policies and procedures.

Room Details

  • 1914 Sheridan: 1st Floor Conference Room (aka Room 107, seats 12-16 at the tables and has extra chairs in the back room, has a mobile whiteboard and a flat screen TV with an HDMI cable to plug in your laptop)
  • 1914 Sheridan: 3rd Floor Conference Room (aka Room 301, seats 12-15 comfortably, has a mobile whiteboard)
  • 1936 Sheridan: 1st Floor Conference Room (aka Room 107, seats 16-20 comfortably, has a glass board and a flat screen TV with an HDMI cable to plug in your laptop)
Segal Visitor Center

The Segal Visitors Center (SVC) is operated by the Office of Undergraduate Admission from 8:30AM-5PM Monday through Friday, and on select Saturdays
and Sundays.
