Communications Themes
Based on the new Student Affairs Strategic Themes, Student Affairs Marketing has created four Communications Themes that guide our work telling the story of Student Affairs to the Northwestern community.
1. Community
Your program, event, service, or promotion provides:
- Collaborative experiences
- A sense of togetherness, belonging
- The opportunity for learning/growing
- Creating/connecting familiarity through tribes/affinity groups
2. Inclusion
Your program, event, service, or promotion provides:
- An education of others’ identities, communities
- Welcoming atmosphere, a safe space
3. Learning
Your program, event, service, or promotion encourages and promotes:
- Personal development
- Self-awareness, understanding
- Leadership traits through experiences
- Acquisition of knowledge
4. Wellness
Your program, event, service, or promotion:
- Supports mental, physical, and/or spiritual well being.
- Encourages the act of taking time to support one’s and others’ well-being.
- Inspires collaboration, not competition.
