Dean on Call (DOC) 

Dean on Call assists students and University community members who need counsel and guidance, especially in a crisis situation. The DOC ensures that students in distress receive appropriate referrals and levels of support.

Off-Campus Life

The Off-Campus Life Office serves as the first point of contact for students moving and living off-campus.

Respect NU

Respect NU provides a systematic approach to promoting a safe and welcoming campus community for all students.

AccessibleNU (ANU)

ANU serves undergraduate, graduate, professional school, and Professional Studies students on the Evanston and Chicago campuses.  Students with disabilities or other conditions requiring accommodation (including hidden medical and diagnosed psychological conditions, learning disabilities, AD/HD, and others) must register with ANU in order to qualify for accommodations and services.

New Student & Family Programs (NSFP)

New Student & Family Programs aids in the transition of our new students and their family members. We work with the incoming class from the moment they decide to attend Northwestern through the end of their first year. We continue our support for family members throughout the student's experience through our publications and Family Weekend.

First Year Experience

The First-Year Experience area within the Office of New Student and Family Programs is responsible for providing programs, processes, and communication that will help to enrich the first year for students at Northwestern. In collaboration with various departments, offices, and academic areas, Northwestern strives to support students throughout their transition to the community, including social and academic transition.

Student Assistance and Support Services (SASS)

SASS coordinates referrals and services for students to campus and community resources to promote well-being.

Student Conduct

The Office of Student Conduct provides leadership in resolving student conduct and conflict issues.
