In this session, we will watch “First-generation Journeys: Confronting, Challenging, & Crossing Academic Borderlands” webinar originally presented by NASPA, Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education. Following our viewing of the webinar, we will engage in a focused discussion about key ideas presented in the webinar as well as ideas that inform our day-to-day work with first-generation students here at Northwestern University.
Alternatively, if you cannot join us for the whole time, you may view the webinar ahead of time here, and join us for the discussion facilitated by Alejandro and Mayra at 9:45am.
A light breakfast will be provided at 8:30am, and the viewing of the webinar will begin promptly at 9:00am. Please RSVP for either Webinar + Discussion or Discussion Only by completing the Google Form below and remember to bring your Wildcard to check-in. We hope to see you there!
