Presentation Content:

In the merry-go-round of life we are encouraged to grab the brass ring. The hard part is knowing what or where the ring is. It is becoming more of a challenge to find new and interesting venues for introducing recent technology to our campus. The goal is to encourage faculty, staff, and students to investigate the latest tools of the computer industry and see for themselves how this exciting technology can be incorporated into their own classrooms, offices, and homes. It is our responsibility as a computer support department to see that the word gets out. Here are some "brass rings" we offer to our campus community: posters, newspaper articles, electronic bulletin boards, newsletters, and vendor shows. This paper presents a few tactics that work for this university.
