Office of Foundation Relations

The Office of Foundation Relations assists faculty in preparing proposals and connecting with private foundations to support research in areas ranging from science and engineering, to the social sciences, and to the arts. Learn more

Corporate Engagement

The office of Corporate Engagement works with faculty and administrators to facilitate philanthropic support, industry-sponsored research, mentoring, student placements, executive education, and other collaborations. Faculty members should contact Corporate Engagement if they are looking for industry leaders in their respective fields, or if a company has contacted them directly. Learn more

Office of the Provost Travel Grants and other resources
  • Faculty Dependent Care Professional Travel Grants The grant offers all full time faculty (permanent status, excluding research faculty) a taxable grant for qualified short-term dependent care expenses incurred when traveling to attend professional meetings, conferences, workshops and professional development opportunities.
  • Underrepresented Minority Faculty Professional Travel GrantThe grants are intended to supplement school support for underrepresented minority faculty members’ scholarly and creative work, as well as professional development opportunities.
Provost Grants for Research in Humanities, Social Sciences, and the Arts

Faculty in the humanities, social sciences, and the arts are eligible for these awards, which are intended to provide funding in fields with little external or start-up funding. Learn more
