Beth Ripperger is a Project Coordinator within the Office of the Provost at Northwestern University, providing key support for multiple faculty programs, academic initiatives, and Office communications. She joined the Office of the Provost in July 2016.
Prior to coming to Northwestern, Beth earned her undergraduate degree from Mount Mercy University in Psychology and her MA in Higher Education & Student Affairs at The University of Iowa (UI). During her time at UI she served as a graduate assistant at Student Health & Wellness as a Health Educator and was also an intern and summer graduate assistant at The Center for Diversity & Enrichment. After earning her MA, Beth continued her work with Student Health & Wellness and transitioned into the role as a Substance Abuse Counselor. Some of her roles included planning various health and wellness programs for campus, providing one-on-one substance use counseling sessions with students, and coordinating UI’s online sexual misconduct prevention program.
Beth enjoys hiking, running, volleyball, CrossFit, playing the ukulele, and her two fluffy cats. She is also on a quest to run a half marathon or marathon in every state.
