Learn to Knit Mini Workshop

Instructor: Anne Howard

  • Saturday: 1 pm - 4 pm, February 23
    • Fee: $16

Pick up a meditative and creative new hobby in just three hours! February is a great time to make yourself a warm new scarf. Learn the basics of knitting and develop a pattern for your first project. Please note you will need one pair of straight needles (US size 7, 8, 9, 10, or 11) and one skein of yarn. Inexpensive acrylic yarn in a bright or pastel color is recommended; it should be labeled worsted weight, medium weight, or 4. A yarn store such as CloseKnit in Evanston can help you choose.

Workshop Event Packages

Make it a party and buy a Mini Workshop! Privately held group workshops are now available for purchase.
