Wine Appreciation (5 Weeks)

Instructor: Mark Gruber

  • Section A: Tuesdays: 7:30 pm - 9 pm, January 22 - February 19
  • Section B: Thursdays: 7:30 pm - 9 pm, January 24 - February 21
    • Fee: $125 NU / $135 Public

In this five week class you will develop a working knowledge of six wines per class. Learn about wine tasting, grape variety, vintages, wine storage, and wine/food complements throughout the course. The course comes with a complimentary sampling of the wines. Please bring two wine glasses to class. Attendees must have a valid government-issued ID that shows they are at least 21 years old to enter each class meeting. 

Wine O'Clock (5 Weeks)

Instructor: Mark Gruber

  • Thursdays: 9:15 pm - 10:15 pm, January 24 - February 21
    • Fee: $125 NU / $135 Public

This course will introduce students to newer and rarer labels. No prior knowledge of wine is needed. The course comes with complimentary sampling of the wines discussed. Please bring two wine glasses to class. Attendees must have a valid government-issued ID that shows they are at least 21 years old to enter each class meeting. 

Mixology (5 Weeks)

Instructor: Mark Gruber

  • Tuesdays: 9:15 pm - 10 pm, January 22 - February 19
    • Fee: $125 NU / $135 Public

Hosting a cocktail party? Just trying to expand from the usual rum and coke? Mixology masters will teach you recipes and demonstrate the drink-mixing techniques you need to improve your creations. Students are encouraged to taste the drinks mixed by classroom assistants. Attendees must have a valid government-issued ID that shows they are at least 21 years old to enter each class meeting.
