Wine Appreciation (5 Weeks)

Instructor: Mark Gruber

  • Section A: Tuesdays: 6:30 pm - 8 pm, April 16 - May 14
  • Section B: Thursdays: 6:30 pm - 8 pm, April 18 - May 23*
    • Fee: $125 NU / $135 Public

In this five week course, you will develop a working knowledge of six wines per class. Learn about wine tasting, grape variety, vintages, wine storage, and wine/food complements throughout the course. The course comes with a complimentary sampling of the wines. Please bring two wine glasses to class. Attendees must have a valid government-issued ID that shows they are at least 21 years old to enter each class meeting. *Please note there will be no class on May 9th.

 

Wine O'Clock (5 Weeks)

Instructor: Mark Gruber

  • Thursdays: 8:15 pm - 9:15 pm, April 18 - May 23*
    • Fee: $125 NU / $135 Public

This course will introduce students to newer and rarer labels. No prior knowledge of wine is needed. The course comes with complimentary sampling of the wines discussed. Please bring two wine glasses to class. Attendees must have a valid government-issued ID that shows they are at least 21 years old to enter each class meeting. *Please note there will be no class on May 9th.

 

History of Mixology (5 Weeks)

Instructor: Mark Gruber

  • Tuesdays: 8:15 pm - 9:30 pm, April 16 - May 14
    • Fee: $125 NU / $135 Public

Mixology masters will teach you the history of recipes and demonstrate the drink-mixing techniques you need to improve your creations. Students are encouraged to taste the drinks mixed by classroom assistants. Attendees must have a valid government-issued ID that shows they are at least 21 years old to enter each class meeting.
