EVANSTON, Ill. --- The Air Transport Association is forecasting a 2.5 percent decrease in air travel during this year’s holiday season in comparison to same period last year. Nevertheless, more than 40 million Americans are expected to take to the air in the time surrounding Christmas and New Years. Aaron Gellman, professor of management and strategy at Northwestern University, discusses some of the issues facing air travelers during the holiday season.
