May is Asian American Pacific Islander Desi American (APIDA) Heritage Month, when the Northwestern community celebrates the diverse APIDA community on campus. Friday, May 25th - JubilAsian 2018: To Be Seen
JubilAsian is MSA’s signature event, planned in partnership with students, celebrating May’s Asian Pacific Islander Desi American Heritage Month. JubilAsian 2018: To Be Seen seeks to highlight the identities of the Northwestern APIDA community and recognize the impact of these students on our campus. We want to elevate the various forms of resistance that the Northwestern APIDA community expresses, whether it be through music, dance, art, food, dialogue, etc. We hope to showcase that any form of expression of our APIDA identity and culture is resistance to our white-dominated society, and want to celebrate our community’s visibility through this event.
