APIDA 101

6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Evanston

APIDA 101 is back for winter quarter! APIDA 101 explores what it means to be a person of Asian, Pacific Islander, and/or Desi descent in the United States. This is a 6-week program is open to any Northwestern undergraduate student who self-identifies as Asian, Pacific Islander, and/or Desi - identities which are inclusive of, but not limited to, East Asian, Southeast Asian, South Asian, and Pacific Islander diasporic identities, as well as multiracial and multiethnic APIDA identities. International APID(A)-identifying students are also welcome!

Harambee: A Black History Month Kick Off Celebration

6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Evanston

Swahili for “pull together,” "Harambee" is used as a rallying cry in Kenya for coming together and gathering resources. Harambee kicks off Black History Month with various performances and food for all to enjoy.

What does it mean to be an ally? How is solidarity created amongst Black and Queer students on campus? Let’s talk about it! Join us for a self-reflective, engaging, and courageous community conversation on Black & Queer solidarity. Dinner will be provided.
