Director of Residential Academic Initiatives

As Director of Residential Academic Initiatives, Brad shapes academic programming and support for undergraduate students who live on campus. Beyond delivery of tutoring and advising across all campus residences, Brad oversees Northwestern’s residential areas and residential colleges, which promote student-faculty engagement through their unique models of faculty leadership and affiliation.

Brad holds an A.B. in History from Amherst College and a Ph.D. in History from Harvard University, where he also worked as a Resident Dean. Prior to joining Residential Services, Brad was Associate Director in Northwestern’s Office of Fellowships and has held faculty appointments in the History Department and Cook Family Writing Program.
